Drip Systems

Misting Traditional watering methods implement the use of overhead sprinklers, which distribute a very fine sheet of water over the selected garden area. To date problems with this method of irrigation are:

• Misting

• Over spray

• Wind drift

• Water run off onto paths and roadways

• Water collection on garden mulch

• Easily vandalised and broken.

• Spray easily impeded by growing plants

• Promotion of plant disease and discolouration

Restricted use through Government Water Restrictions

There is a solution to this irrigation dilemma. Drip irrigation has been extensively used throughout the world as an efficient and effective irrigation method. Netafim have been iinvolved in providfing many drip irrigation solutions for some of the World's biggest irrigation projects. Netafim can now offer you a drip irrigation alternative that:

• Reduces water consumption

• Reduces evaporation

• Reduces plant disease

• Reduces weed growth

• Eliminates wind drift

• Eliminates "over spray"

• Avoid water run-off

• Blend in with the aesthetics of your garden

• Delivers water directly to the root zone

Not effected by Government Water Restrictions in some states

Automatic Systems

You know the appearance of your home is a reflection on yourself and your yard is just as important. You don't just want a yard, you want a landscape.  You know what they say "first impressions last".  The easiest way to keep your landscape looking fantastic is with an automatic irrigation system.  Automatic systems have three great features:-

  • Simplicity. Save time and effort. Once system is installed you’ll never have to drag a hose all over the yard, never have to try and figure out if you’ve applied enough (or too much) water, never have to remember to turn off the tap and you’ll never have to worry about watering the lawn while you’re away.
  • Efficiency. Because the system is automatic, you don’t need to be there. You’ll have more free time to enjoy more of your favourite activities.
  • Value. Attractive landscaping requires substantial investment and careful maintenance. An automatic irrigation system will protect that investment by assuring healthier, longer living plants and turf. Plus, installing a system is a convenience “upgrade” that will measurably increase your property’s value and appeal.

Water is a precious resource and conserving it is everyone’s responsibility. But that doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice a green lawn and beautiful landscape.

With a custom-designed irrigation system, each area of your landscape will be fitted with the proper water-saving sprinklers and spray heads, plus a controller that will turn the system on and off…automatically and on a precise schedule. The end result will be a likely reduction in water bills and a definite savings of time and effort.

Even if you don't have a source of power where you want to automate your irrigation system there is a controller to suit your needs.

Pop-Up Sprinklers

Pop up sprinklers have many forms.   From 2" to 12" long, you can select a basic body and pick from various shapes and sizes of nozzles.

Although not commonly used, you can select a 12" pop up with a half circle nozzle along the edge of your garden beds.

A 3" pop up with a full circle nozzle placed in selected positions in your lawn to get full complete coverage will ensure immaculate lawns all year round.

And for those with out clean town water, don't despair, you too can have nice lawn and garden areas.  A pop up impact sprinkler will handle the dirtier water and cover large areas.

Water where it’s needed and save up to 60% of your water

Fresh water is one of the World's scarcest commodities and as seen in most states of Australia worth saving through the introduction of water restrictions. Most of our portable water is consumed in domestic gardens.
